Director Horn

David Horn, Director of the Ockenga Fellows Program; Associate Regional Director for Theological Education in Intervarsity New England;Interim Senior Pastor First Congregational Church in Hamilton, Massachusetts.

Dave is committed to offering theological education to a variety of constituencies beyond the traditional student body. He has experience in leading centers of ministry devoted to engaging church renewal, faith in the workplace, preaching, missions and more. He writes and speaks on issues related to practical theology and sociology of religion. Dave’s personal interests include running and sports, furniture restoration and travel. He is married to Cec and has two grown children, Will and Molly.

Facilitator Barnes

Kenneth Barnes, Facilitator of the Ockenga Fellows Program; Director of the Mockler Center; Mockler Associate Professor of Workplace Theology and Business Ethics

Prior to embarking on a career in the academy, Ken spent more than twenty-five years as a senior international executive for several multi-billion dollar companies doing business on six continents. In addition to his corporate work, Ken has also worked with SME’s (Small and Medium-Size Enterprises) and start-ups and continues to serve as a company director and mentor to young executives. Ken now directs Gordon-Conwell’s Mockler Center for Faith and Ethics in the Workplace.

Facilitator McConnell

Jason McConnell, Facilitator of the Ockenga Fellows Program; Senior Pastor of Franklin United Church and East Franklin Union Church 

Dr. Jason R. McConnell has served as senior pastor of the Franklin United Church and East Franklin Union Church in Franklin, Vermont since 2004. Jason received a BA in Pastoral Ministry from the Moody Bible Institute, an MDiv and ThM from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a DMin from Beeson Divinity School. In addition to spending time with his wife Jennifer and their four children, he enjoys spending time in the Vermont outdoors hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, skiing, and snowshoeing.
