Pastors’ Forums - Shoemaker Center for Church Renewal

Upcoming Pastors’ Forums

Pastors’ Forums provide an opportunity for you to be enriched, encouraged, and challenged on a wide variety of topics relevant to ministry by various speakers. These occur throughout the spring and fall semesters at Gordon-Conwell and are open to anyone interested in the presented topics.

Pastors and ministry leaders are invited to attend this separate event after the March Dean’s Forum to explore more deeply how spiritual formation and pastoral ministry intersect with the Christian vision of the body and the variety of different ways we are called into relationships with others.

Cost is $30. Registration is required and includes a complimentary copy of Dr Tennent’s book ‘For the Body: Recovering a Theology of Gender, Sexuality, and the Human Body’.

About the Speaker

Dr. Timothy C. Tennent currently serves as the President of Asbury Theological Seminary. Previously, he was the Professor of World Missions and Indian Studies at Gordon-Conwell. He has pastored churches in Georgia, and in several of the largest churches in New England. He is a frequent conference speaker and the author of numerous books, including ‘For the Body: Recovering a Theology of Gender, Sexuality, and the Human Body’.
