“Guests are the friends of God.” Afghan proverb
Since the US withdrawal from Afghanistan in late August 2021, there have been over 75,000 Afghans evacuated and resettled all over the US. This is a chance for churches to practice Christian hospitality to Afghans in cooperation with the overworked resettlement agencies. Learn what is happening with Afghan arrivals, how some churches have already helped, and how you can begin the process of welcoming Afghans as individuals or as a church along with resources to use. This will be led by Gordon-Conwell graduates who have lived and worked among Afghans there and back in the US.
