Dr. Autumn Ridenour, Mockler Associate Professor of Christian Ethics at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, joins a group of Christian thinkers contributing to The Gospel Coalition’s new book The AI Apocalypse: A Survival Guide for Humanity, edited by Collin Hansen and Skyler R. Flowers. In her chapter titled “AI and the Limits of Life and Death”, Dr. Ridenour explores AI in relation to human limits, mortality, and the hope of resurrection. Gordon-Conwell alumni Rachel Gilson (MDiv ’20) and Michael Keller (MDiv & ThM ’07) are also among the contributors to the volume. Gilson addresses AI in relation to work in her chapter “AI Tools amid Our Work’s Demands and Drudgery,” while Keller explores personal identity in “Generating the Self.”
