Dr. Davis Writes about the Physics, Philosophy, and Theology of God

Longtime faculty member and renowned scholar, Dr. John Jefferson Davis, recently published two articles in separate journals in which he explores both the academic and practical elements of theology.

With analogies from the fields of physics and philosophy, Dr. Davis argues in the latest issue of the evangelical theological journal Themelios (Vol. 48, Issue 3) that the One God of the Hebrew Bible and the Trinity in the New Testament are one and the same.

In the latest Journal of the Evangelical Homiletics Society (JEHS, Vol. 23, No. 2) he makes the case that preachers and teachers of the Word should begin expositions on human nature not in Genesis but with Jesus Christ, the perfect embodiment of God who redeems all of creation back into its proper places.
