Dr. Jeffrey Arthurs, Robinson Chair of Preaching and Communication, released his second commentary for the Kerux Commentary series today. The series is based on the “big idea” approach to expository preaching developed by the late Dr. Haddon W. Robinson, former President of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. The commentaries draw upon experts in both exegesis and homiletics to guide ministry leaders in studying deeply and teaching powerfully.

Writing with Dr. Adam Copenhaver, Dr. Arthurs’ latest commentary on Colossians and Philemon combines “exegetical precision with homiletical care, helping preachers and Bible teachers take Paul’s message–a plea for walking together in a manner worthy of Christ–to the church today.”

Last spring, Dr. Arthurs released a commentary on Ephesians that was co-written with Dr. Gregory MaGee.
