Dr. McDonough Presents at MIT Cru on the Bible’s Dependability throughout Time and Translation

Gordon-Conwell Professor of New Testament Dr. Sean McDonough was invited to speak at MIT Cru’s Reason for God lecture series in January. His presentation “Can the Bible Speak Today? Roots, Reliability, and Relevance” analyzed how and why the Bible is a trusted source for today’s church.

Dr. Sean McDonough is professor of New Testament and has taught at Gordon-Conwell for over twenty years. His research interests include creation/cosmology in the Bible and the Ancient Near East, Hellenistic Judaism, Greek philosophy and religion and the Book of Revelation. In addition to his teaching, Dr. McDonough remains active in local and international ministries.
