2020 was a difficult and challenging year for many, including the world of archaeology.  In fact, the pandemic led to the cancellation of many excavations in the lands of the Bible.  Still, there were a number of important discoveries which not only affirm details in Scripture but also help us to understand the biblical text in greater detail.
