Content ≠ Competency

Are You Looking for More Than Just Content?

Are you looking for more conversation… more context…
more clarity… more camaraderie?

GCI Ministry Competency Program

Our competency-based approach offers a one-year, interactive program designed to complement and enhance your theological education through small cohorts of 24–30 students.

  • Join virtual and in-person learning opportunities led by world-renowned scholars
  • Connect with GCI advisors and mentors in small, local communities of practice
  • Competency-based training and discussion
  • Enjoy the space, resources, and camaraderie you need to enrich your ministry journey
  • Capstone Project

“For this very reason, make every effort to build on your faith with virtue; and on virtue, knowledge; and on knowledge, self-control; and on self-control, perseverance; and on perseverance, godliness; and on godliness, brotherly kindness; and on brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

—2 Peter 1:5–8 (NIV)
