Dr. Barnes establishes that “a proper reading of Scripture would suggest that we were created by God to engage in economic activity, as a reflection of the Imago Dei.” He continues by considering both the advantages and disadvantages of cryptocurrency and proposes an approach in line with his understanding of the Christian responsibility of participating in and contributing to our communities and economies.
