Biography:
Jenny is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She has over 15 years of experience as an elementary school counselor and ten years counseling in community mental health. She received her MA in Counseling and School Counseling from Eastern Mennonite University (Harrisonburg, VA) and will receive her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Regent University (Virginia Beach, VA) in August 2021.

Jenny’s clinical expertise includes counseling children and adolescents, addictions, domestic violence treatment, and court-involved clients. Her research interests are in school counselor professional identity development and mental health competencies, and the mental health needs of clergy families. Jenny has served beside her husband since he entered ministry as an elder in the United Methodist Church over 20 years ago. She lives with her husband and three children just outside of Richmond, VA.
